Ryo:
When Morpha created Dark Link, it first made a body-copy of Link to make the shadow from. When Dark Link was defeated, it returned to the body. It was lifeless, and the Goddesses were enraged that Ganondorf would use their own creation design for evil and cast it aside. They made a deity soul with their powers to inhabit the body. This is Ryo. Over the years, he grew and developed his own way, becoming a skilled swordsman and wanderer of the lands.

When Ryo came to Hyrule again, he found it in danger. He stopped the evil Gravitor from killing Princess Zelda. The two embarked on a journey together to put an end to the evil Overlord an while they did, Ryo's protection of her and Zelda's concern for his safety in fights began to become more personal. They were in love. Since this adventure, they stayed close to each other and married soon after.

Please understand that we can't add you to the member's list until you put us on watch. We prefer to add each member by number at present, and that's hard to do when we don't have you on our watch list. This is optional but much appreciated! If you choose to, it would be great if you could put the club's name or icon in your journal (Or sig if that floats your boat!) You can do this by typing : iconZeRyo-Club : (Without the spaces!) or for a text link : devZeRyo-Club : (Same as before, witout the spaces) Take note that the icon only works in your journals.

However, in spite of all this, I really can't say I like the idea of a club like this. At all. There's nothing original whatsoever about such a concept - it's been done to death time and time again. In fact, as far as I can see, creating something like this only detracts from the positive aspects of your pairing. You've managed to do something in a better and more worthwhile way than most others have. Don't mess it up by copying the cliched attention-whores.
With that said though, I recognise that this is entirely up to you, and I'm not going to try to force you to change on account of my concerns. I just felt like I should state my opinion on the matter, feel free to regard or disregard it as you see fit.
First off, you're more than welcome to have your own opinion. I honestly can and do respect that.
I know clubs are pretty cliché and they've been done to death and all, you're absolutely right there. But that's not why we've done this - we're not out seeking attention and bombing people with comments begging to join and support us. As a personal reason of my own, I was genuinely curious to know who exactly supported this of their own will. In a way, it helped me define who holds a genuine interest in one of the most precious ideas we've had and one that will probably remain dear to me for a long time.
Most clubs you see are of repeated topics that were made "just 'cause". I can't tell you how many Mario, Zelda etc themed clubs I've seen. But, I don't think I've seen any that hold an actual personal reason behind the making of them - if there are then I take this back. That's what inspired the pairing in the first place, genuine love between two people that's been lasting for years now despite quite discouraging odds, and that's why making this was important to us.
I'm certainly not disregarding what you're saying at all. In fact, I'm quite happy you made your opinion known, you do hold interesting points that I do acknowledge that. I just hope you can feel the same way about ours. ^^
